How can I prepare spaghetti squash?

I've decided to add some recipes to the blog…

One of the things I LOVE about cooking is that you can literally play; a little of this, a dash of that.  It's far less scientific than baking!

Here's one I like to throw together using spaghetti squash and some other colourful veg:

-Slice a spaghetti squash in half, remove seeds and place face down in a baking dish of water. Cook at 425 for about 45 minutes or until you can easily pierce the skin.
-Let is cool a bit, then, using a fork, scrape out the strands into a large bowl.
-Toss with extra virgin, cold pressed olive oil, sun dried tomato, basil and freshly ground black pepper- divine!

You can also use other sauces that you might traditionally have used with pasta- perhaps marinara, or a lemon/white wine reduction… A far healthier choice than starchy, white noodles!~
