Seaweed In My Soup

Remember that post about reinventing my chicken stew into a veggie puree and, separately, chicken salad?  Well, here's yet another reinvention of the very same broth (not concerned with using chicken stock/broth which I made myself for three or four days, BTW):

Since the veggie puree was, well, just veggies (I'd used carrots, onions, mushrooms, garlic and tomato), today I added some of my favorite Eden dried Wakame and the result was amazing, not to mention the fact that it took all of three minutes to heat, stir in the seaweed and watch it expand!
