Something New & Sweet- A Baby Pineapple

I came across this lovely beauty at Whole  Foods (shown here with a Tablespoon to illustrate its size!).  Sweeter than honey, this baby pineapple is tasty as is, grilled on the outdoor BBQ, chopped up into a salsa, pureed then frozen into a dessert or mixed into a smoothie with some egg white protein powder.

When you've got fruit such as this, who the heck wants cake and ice cream?
