Pan Seared White Fish

Who needs to a dusting of white flour for a crisp finish when pan searing fish when you've got...nuts? This recipe works well with halibut, sea bass and mahi mahi.
Ingredients
  • 2 6 ounce white fish fillets
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • Garlic Powder, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon almond flour (be sure to use JUST almond flour with no additives)
Instructions
  1. Pat fillets dry with paper towel
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium high
  3. Season fillets with pepper and garlic
  4. Dust evenly with almond flour
  5. Sear 6 - 8 minutes, flipping over halfway, making sure internal temp = 160F.
  6. Serve on a bed of your favorite greens.
