Liver is the single most nutrient dense, healthiest organ meat we can eat, yet for many, the thought (or taste) of it can be a turn off. Why not switch to a preparation that's not only easy to make but deliciously easy to eat?
Ingredients
2 tablespoons duck fat or raw butter
1 pound pasture raised chicken liver
8 oz grass fed and finished bone broth
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400.
Place duck fat in cast iron skillet
Arrange liver in single layer
Cook until pink inside, about 15 minutes, turning once halfway through
Remove from oven
Place in blender with bone broth (adjust quantity based on desired thickness)
Whiz to combine
Pour into small mason jars
Chill at least 2 hours prior to serving
