Bone broth needn't be consumed only hot; what better base for a nutrient dense smoothie than the golden panacea itself - bone broth! The banana makes a great carb choice if you've just worked out, while the fat from the nuts balances out your macros.
Ingredients
16 oz chicken lemongrass bone broth
½ ripe frozen, sliced banana
2 oz raw, sprouted almonds (or walnuts)
2 soft boiled pasture raised eggs
1 Tablespoon Raw Cacao Nibs
Himalayan Salt, to taste
*Optional : throw in a handful of your favorite organic, leafy greens
Instructions
Blend all in Vitamix
Pour into two glasses
