There are options aside from water on the Paleo diet! Homemade smoothies and green vegetable juices consumed  in conjunction with a balanced protein and fat source are but two examples of what one might enjoy regularly on the Paleo diet.  And if you’re thinking you’re going to have to be naughty and ‘cheat’ now and again, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn you needn’t deviate one iota.  Black coffee and an occasional glass of red wine are, indeed, part of the Paleo diet.
