Fabulous Fruit

All the colors of the rainbow are represented in this wonderful and important facet of the Paleo diet. Rich sources of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, this is one of the two types of healthy carbohydrates that we need to be sure to eat in order to provide our bodies with balanced nutrition.  A handful of berries scattered atop a salad,  frozen cantaloupe chunks whizzed into a smoothie or a nice, ripe banana after a workout are great examples of how a small amount of natural sweetness is really all you need.
