Egg, Tomato & Basil Amuse Bouce

Prepare just a few as an amuse bouche for a small dinner party, or a whole tray to serve as passed hors d'oeuvres!
  • 2 large cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 4 thin slices avocado
  • thinly sliced red onion, for garnish
  • olive oil, for garnish
  • freshly ground black pepper, for garnish
  1. Wash, then slice the tomatoes into two or three slices
  2. Slice the egg into two or three slices
  3. Layer slices to create a bite sized tower
  4. Place a basil leaf atop each
  5. Place on center of plate, with two slices avocado on each plate
  6. Scatter onion on top
  7. Drizzle olive oil and grind pepper on top
