Who says turkey burgers have to be dried out and boring? Add some dark meat and see for yourself how juicy they can be!
  • 2 pounds dark meat turkey
  • 1 raw cage free egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1 handful fresh basil, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
  1. Using a meat grinder attachment, grind meat into bowl
  2. Crack egg into bowl
  3. Add olive oil and herbs
  4. Using your hands, shape into patties
  5. Cook outside on the grill or under broiler
  6. Check to make sure internal temp = 150
  7. Remove and tent with foil
  8. Serve with your favorite greens and avocado and tomato as garnish
