Vary the heat by the amount of Jalapeno you add and you choose whether to go mild or picante! Lovely with fish, chicken or steak!
  • 1.5 # tomatillos, husks removed
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 4 scallions, roots removed, washed and chopped
  • 1 small lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 clove fresh garlic
  • 1 - 2 jalapenos, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  1. Combine all in mini prep food processor
  2. Whiz to combine
  3. Pour into bowl
  4. Tightly cover with plastic
  5. Let chill at least an hour before serving.
  6. Can also be used as a marinade for your favorite proteins.
