Cranberries are full of antioxidants, which protects cells from damage by unstable molecules called free radicals. Here's a healthy, easy way to prepare them which allows you all the benefits without the downside (corn syrup) you'd find in many a canned variety.
  • 12 ounces organic, raw cranberries
  • 1½ cups filtered water
  • ½ freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1 teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  1. Combine cranberries, water and juice in medium sized saucepan
  2. Over medium heat, cook until the cranberries start to explode
  3. Remove from heat and place in a bowl
  4. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools
