Make over that East Coast summer time staple by swapping out just a few ingredients!
  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pastured, raw egg* if you cannot find a good source, omit egg
  • 3 carrots
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  1. Wash and shred cabbage
  2. Whisk egg into olive oil until well incorporated
  3. Shred carrots
  4. Combine all ingredients together
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours before serving
