Roasted Marrow....decadent and oh so Paleo! Who needs bread to spoon it onto?Enjoy it right out of the bone with a spoon!
  • 2 grass fed beef or bison shanks, split vertically (ask your butcher for help)
  • Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  1. Preheat the oven to 450F
  2. Place split bones, marrow side up, in glass or ceramic baking dish
  3. Roast for roughly twenty minutes
  4. Remove from oven and let cool five minutes
  5. Drizzle with olive oil, to taste
  6. Sprinkle with pepper, to taste
