Paleo Book Recommendation- PRIMAL CUTS

I LOVE cookbooks.  Classic ones, Mastering The Art of French Cooking, by Julia Child, must haves, like Thomas Keller's French Laundry and, of course, the Cordon Bleu Cooking Encyclopedia from my culinary school days.

No, those books are NOT Paleo, BUT the amount of ideas they've given me, as well as challenges to Paleoize recipes make them not only fun, but a necessary part of my kitchen!

My husband gave me a GREAT gift this Christmas:

Primal Cuts- Cooking With America's Best Butchers, by Marissa Guggiana

Smallprimalcover

Again, it is not a Paleo cookbook, as many of the recipes may use dairy, grains or legumes, BUT, they're incredibly easy to omit in many recipes, and all the fabulous preparations for meats ranging from beef & pork to venison, lamb, poultry and so on, and so on are fantastic.  Also nice to read a little about each butcher's story which prefaces each of their contributions.

Osso Buco on the menu for tomorrow!

A must have!
