Are Kale Chips a Good Paleo Snack?
I've personally only seen two brands of kale chips; both had high sodium levels due to added salt.
If you're an athlete, some added salt in the diet is not only acceptable, it's necessary. However, it's quite easy to simply sprinkle a bit onto your pre workout banana smoothie, or post session homebrew, so buying processed products with sodium is still not the best way to go.
Yes, kale chips (if you're talking about literally dehydrated pieces of kale, rather than corn chips with a touch of kale dusted on top!) are a better choice than many other options out there, but you're still far better off just eating the real thing…
Once again- EAT MORE KALE!!
