A Possibly Paleo Friendly BAR

After my post about what 'bars' were OK to eat on the Paleo Diet, a reader brought my attention to another possible option:

The Tanka Bar!


The idea appealed to me straight away- bison with cranberry; LOVE the sweet/savory combination!

A quick review of the label showed:

Buffalo, Dried Cranberries (cranberries, sugar), Sea Salt, Red Pepper, Onion, Garlic.

Two issues- sugar and salt.  HOWEVER- keep in mind that what I've said about bars before still holds true.  if you think of it as a Plan B (as in: you're in a pinch and there are no other options),  you're far better off eating a small amount of salt versus a small amount of gluten, soy or dairy, that you'd find in many other compete brands!

Eat fresh bison, fresh veg, fresh cranberries, and, ONCE IN A WHILE, when pressed, have a Tanka Bar!
