I came across the most interesting thing at Whole Foods yesterday- Black Garlic! I just HAD to try it.
Wow- if you're a garlic fan, this is a must-eat. It's not quite as pungent on the tongue as traditional garlic; in fact, I decided to eat a piece raw as I was cooking this evening and it's simply divine.
According to blackgarlic.com (yes, it has it's own website), it’s loaded with nearly twice as many antioxidants as raw garlic and contains S-Allycysteine, which is said to help in preventing cancer.
