Mid-Training Snacks for Paleo Endurance Athletes

Have you got two intense workouts that are not far enough apart to be considered a two-a-day, but not close together enough to be a brick?

That's exactly the situation I found myself in this morning.  I'd swam 5k, then had an hour and a half before my century training ride.  I opted for a delish concoction of leftover baked yam, a soft boiled egg, some olive oil, figs & salt.   Simple, right to the point, and perfect prep for a five hour ride!
