Surprise, Surprise! Taco Bell’s Tacos AREN’T Filled With REAL Meat…

Is anyone really that surprised?

“Rather than beef, these food items are actually made with a substance known as ‘taco meat filling.’ Taco meat filling mostly consists of  ‘extenders’ and other non-meat substances. Taco meat filling is not beef.

“Taco Bell’s ‘seasoned beef’ actually contains among other ingredients, water, ‘Isolated Oat Product,’ wheat oats, soy lecithin, maltodrextrin, anti-dusting agent, autolyzed yeast extract, modified corn starch and sodium phosphate, as well as beef and seasonings."

Wow- that's a new one for me- anti-dusting agents?

Buy yourself a clean cut of beef or whichever red meat you like, make sure it's grass fed, bring it  home and use an inexpensive meat grinder (I bought mine @ Williams Sonoma for about $50) to make your own burgers, meatballs (skip the breadcrumbs!) or tacos (using Bibb Lettuce in lieu of the fried corn shell).  Low cost, tasty and for sure- no anti dusting agents!
