Start a group fitness regime at the office, BEFORE the New Year!

Start by recruiting one person from work to go on a walk with you at lunch, or go to the gym, or drop in on a yoga class en route home from work.  See if the number of folks joining you doesn't slowly increase as the days pass by!  Not only will you help keep your weight in check, you'll also find a great holiday stress reliever via exercise!
